Harook Stormtrooper...

Right, I know I've been harping on about my Harook for some time, really can't get the paint scheme quite as I want it but I think it's as close as I'm going to get.

So, here is my first test, please feel free to give me any tips or pointers as I've said in the past I hate painting white but if I don't try it I'll never get any better with it:

So there we go.

Thanks again for having a look, all comments welcome!

  1. Looks good. Have you seen the Harook over of Felonmarming?

    1. Hi Tamsin, thanks for the link, hadn't seen them before somehow!

That treehouse is an excellent idea... hmmm... terrain... something I appear to be lacking in.

  2. Nice, the yellow gives it just the right amount of colour.

  3. Looks great, I think its pretty spot on, mine will be over the top with colour, using parrots as inspiration.

    1. I'm thinking of having a few with more colourful plumage to denote squad leaders etc, or maybe a Toucan type beak...

  4. Very nice. I'm a big fan of Harook, and your paint job is smashing.

I know what you mean about painting white, but I think you've pulled it off with this one. Be good to see a whole squad done up the same.

    1. Cheers, I've finished off another four of them tonight - with any luck I'll have the others done Friday/Saturday so will post them then.

Have to admit after TamsinP posted a link to your blog I might pinch your idea of the treehouse hideout for them - that was inspired!
